Grey Swan Capital
A Sample Report
What owners, publications, and members actually get to use.
A Grey Swan report takes public information about a real kind of business and turns it into a first look an owner can use — pressures, opportunities, and questions worth bringing to a CPA or advisor. Names are removed in this sample. Dollar figures are rough illustrations, not promises. The real numbers come from a conversation and the owner's own books.
How people use a report
An owner can read it before any call and see where dollars often hide in a business like theirs. A publication can share the same kind of work with the businesses and readers it already serves, so the story is useful after the article ends. A church, a school, or another cause can point people here and let them see the work that sits alongside the fundraising.
Paying members get reports as part of membership. Founding members also get a consultation. That is not a separate product to buy later. It comes with belonging.
A neighbor's first look
This sample is “A Cold Storage Company: A Neighbor’s First Look,” prepared October 30, 2026 from publicly available information. It looks at a family-owned refrigerated warehouse and third-party logistics business — about a $42 million, 135,000-square-foot building in the South — and walks through the pressures common to that kind of operation, starting with power, labor, and the places tax savings are often left unchecked.
Membership is also a holiday fundraiser
Half of every paid membership goes to a cause the member chooses, and it goes out right away. If they do not pick one, it goes to the Conway Human Development Center. The choice is locked for a year so the cause can count on it.
That means anyone can use this right now: join and name a cause, or give a membership as a holiday gift. The member gets the research, the reports, and the explainers. Founders also get a consultation, Nostr Fundraising, and everything we add from here on, at a price that does not go up. You can start with a free one-month Follow Me option. Paid membership is $6 a month or $50 a year. Founders is $200 a year.
